Comparing a new biopsy needle to the standard one for prostate cancer

Who can take part

  • You are a man over 18.
  • You have a PSA density of 0.15 or higher (a number your doctor can calculate from your PSA level and prostate size).
  • You have a suspicious spot on your prostate that can be seen on an MRI scan (with a PI-RADS score of 3 or higher).
  • You have not had any previous treatment for prostate cancer (like surgery, radiation, hormone therapy, or chemotherapy).
  • Your cancer has not spread beyond the prostate, and your tumor stage is not T2c, T3, or T4.
