Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have a blood infection caused only by Enterococcus faecalis bacteria (no other germs).
  • You have taken at least one antibiotic (like ampicillin, vancomycin, or daptomycin) for 5 or more days, with or without a second drug.
  • You agree to be part of the study and sign a consent form.
  • You are not expected to pass away within the next 3 days from the infection.
  • You do not have any other active infection besides the blood infection.
