Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have had a positive blood test for Enterococcus faecalis between January 2017 and December 2023
  • You were treated with penicillin for 7 days or more
  • Your treatment included amoxicillin or piperacillin-tazobactam (penicillin drugs)
  • The bacterium was not resistant to amoxicillin
  • You did not have another serious infection (endocarditis) in the first 7 days of treatment
