Brain stimulation and facing fears in OCD

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and speak English fluently.
  • You have been diagnosed with OCD and have had symptoms for at least one year.
  • Your OCD symptoms are currently significant (as measured by a standard questionnaire).
  • You have been on the same medications or therapy for at least 8 weeks, or you are not currently receiving active treatment.
  • You do not have active severe substance use problems, serious thoughts of suicide, or a history of bipolar/psychotic disorders or major brain injury.
  • You are not pregnant, and you are not taking daily anti-anxiety medications like benzodiazepines.
