- You have a sporadic (not inherited) acoustic neuroma
- You are either being watched with a 'wait and scan' approach or have had surgery to remove the neuroma
- You have not received radiation therapy to your head or neck
- You have not had facial paralysis before treatment for the neuroma
- You do not have a major mental illness that started before your neuroma diagnosis
- You do not have chronic migraines or postural instability that started before your neuroma diagnosis
