Who can take part
- You are planning a partial (hemi) or full thyroid removal surgery at Oslo University Hospital’s ENT department
- Your thyroid has a lump or tumor that looks suspicious for cancer, such as certain fine-needle biopsy results (Bethesda 3–6) or other concerning signs
- You can read, understand, and complete the study questionnaires
- You are age 18 or older
- You can give signed consent to join the study
