Thyroid Cancer Treatment and Its Effect on Ovaries and Pregnancy

This study looks at how thyroid cancer treatment affects your ovaries and future pregnancy chances. If you are a woman aged 20-45 with early-stage papillary or follicular thyroid cancer and have had thyroid surgery, this trial may help understand your options for preserving fertility.

Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 45 years old
  • You have not gone through menopause yet (still having periods)
  • You have a type of thyroid cancer called papillary or follicular thyroid cancer, and it has not spread beyond the thyroid
  • You have had surgery to remove part or all of your thyroid (with or without radioactive iodine treatment)
  • You have not had any surgery on your ovaries, uterus, or pelvis, and no radiation to those areas
  • You are not pregnant and do not have certain uterine or ovarian conditions
