MRI scans to track nerve damage in neuropathy patients

Charcot-Marie-Tooth Neuropathy Type 1AHereditary Transthyretin Amyloid NeuropathyAcquired Demyelinating Neuropathy

Part of Brain & nervous system, Genetic & congenital clinical trials.

This study uses MRI scans to look at nerve and muscle changes over time in people with inherited or acquired nerve conditions. It may help doctors better understand how these diseases progress.

Finding early signs of Charcot-Marie-Tooth 1A

This trial looks for new markers of Charcot-Marie-Tooth 1A (CMT1A) early in the disease. Researchers hope to find signs that can help diagnose and track the disease better, which could lead to better treatments in the future.

Myo-MRI scan study for neuromuscular muscle diseases

This study tests whether special MRI scans can help evaluate neuromuscular (muscle/nerve) diseases. It may help doctors better assess muscle involvement and support diagnosis and evaluation.

Finding new markers for early CMT1A disease

This study looks for new markers of early Charcot-Marie-Tooth 1A (CMT1A) disease using blood tests and special MRI scans. It aims to help understand how the disease progresses and may lead to better treatments.

MRI study of nerve damage and repair in multiple sclerosis

This trial uses MRI scans to better understand how nerve fibers are damaged and repaired in people with multiple sclerosis. It may help researchers connect scan findings to disease activity and progression.

MRI testing to improve brain scans in neurodegenerative diseases

This study aims to improve MRI scan settings used when studying brain diseases that affect memory and movement. You would be asked to undergo MRI scanning as a healthy volunteer to help optimize the imaging process.
