Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed neuromuscular disease diagnosis from your doctor’s testing (clinical exam, nerve/muscle tests, antibodies, and/or gene testing)
  • You are able and willing to have an MRI scan as part of standard study testing
  • You do not have implanted devices that are unsafe for MRI (like certain pacemakers or other non-MRI-safe electronics)
  • You do not have severe fear of enclosed spaces (claustrophobia)
  • Your condition is not too advanced and you can still move your arms and legs somewhat (not very severe quadriparesis)
