Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older and have a confirmed diagnosis of a rare liver cancer called combined hepatocellular cholangiocarcinoma (CHC).
  • Your cancer must be too advanced to be removed by surgery, or it has spread to other parts of your body. You may have had treatment before, like local therapy or systemic therapy.
  • You need to have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan (a 'measurable lesion').
  • Your overall health must be fairly good (ECOG performance status of 0, 1, or 2), meaning you can care for yourself and are up and about more than half of the day.
  • Your liver function must be Child-Pugh class A or B, meaning your liver is working reasonably well.
  • You must not have had other cancers in the last five years (except some very low-risk types), no major bleeding within the last six months, no organ or bone marrow transplant in the last two years, and no active autoimmune disease.
