Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed or strongly suspected bile duct cancer (hilar cholangiocarcinoma) that cannot be removed with standard surgery.
- Your cancer should not have spread to distant organs or to certain lymph nodes (like near the spine or colon).
- You need to be in generally good health (able to carry out daily activities without help) and have not lost more than 10% of your body weight in the last six months.
- You must have a body mass index (BMI) below 30.
- You must have had at least 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation, and the cancer must have stayed stable or shrunk in that time.
