  • You are 60 to 95 years old
  • You live at home or in the community (not a nursing home)
  • You can walk and take care of yourself without help
  • You have mild memory or thinking problems that do not keep you from making decisions
  • You scored at least 4 on a short questionnaire about strength, walking, and falls
  • You have not done a structured weight lifting or resistance program in the last year
