Who can take part
- Born between 22 weeks and 28 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy
- Your baby is 7 to 14 days old
- Your baby is on a breathing machine (ventilator) and needs at least 30% extra oxygen (FiO2 ≥ 0.3)
- No major birth defects of the lungs, diaphragm, or known genetic disorders
- No recent infections or certain medicines that could affect the trial results
- You (the birthing parent) are at least 18 years old and can give permission in English or Spanish
