  • You are 18 years or older (your growth plates are finished fusing).
  • You have a broken wrist (distal radius fracture) seen on X-ray.
  • Your injury happened less than 7 days ago.
  • Your doctor plans to realign the bones without surgery (closed reduction).
  • You are being treated at San Ignacio University Hospital in Bogotá, Colombia.
