Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease using standard guidelines.
  • You are able to lie still for an MRI scan.
  • Your Parkinson's symptoms get better with dopamine medications.
  • You do not have other conditions like diabetes, severe kidney disease, or a history of stroke or head injury.
  • You have no metal implants or other reasons that would make an MRI unsafe.
