Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (a bile duct cancer inside the liver).
- Your cancer must be too advanced for surgery or have spread to other parts of the body, and you have not had any previous systemic treatment (like chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy).
- You need to be in fairly good health, able to take care of yourself (WHO/ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
- You must have at least one tumor that can be measured on a CT scan or MRI (a target lesion).
- If you had surgery for your cancer, the cancer must have come back more than 6 months after the surgery (or after finishing any adjuvant therapy like chemotherapy or radiation).
- You cannot have severe liver problems (like significant jaundice, hard-to-treat fluid buildup in the belly, or confusion from liver failure), serious bleeding issues, active infections, or severe weight loss/failure of multiple organs.
