Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are scheduled for a type of lung surgery called a wedge resection (removing a small piece of lung) through a camera (thoracoscopic)
  • You will receive general anesthesia (medicine to make you sleep and stop breathing) using a mask-like device (LMA) or a standard breathing tube
  • Your medical records before and after surgery are complete and available for review
