Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are scheduled for a keyhole lung surgery to remove a small nodule (wedge or segmentectomy).
  • The nodule is small (≤2 cm) and close to the outer surface of the lung.
  • Your overall health is good (ASA I or II) and your lung function is above 60% of predicted.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 28.
  • You do not have serious heart, lung, or bleeding problems, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
