Who can take part
- You have ALS (possible, probable, or definite).
- Your ALS has been declining at a rate of at least 0.33 points per month on the ALSFRS-R scale since your first symptoms.
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are currently receiving nutrition through a PEG tube.
- You either take riluzole (stable dose for at least 4 weeks) or do not take it.
- You are able to understand the study and give informed consent.
