Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are scheduled for a non-urgent bone tumor removal surgery that is not minimally invasive.
  • Your hemoglobin level is 11 g/dL or higher (meaning you have enough red blood cells).
  • You are not using a tourniquet during surgery.
  • You have no active infections, serious heart or lung problems, or liver/kidney issues.
