Who can take part

  • You have a spinal cord injury between the C4 and T12 levels and use a wheelchair daily.
  • Your injury is classified as AIS A or B (complete injury).
  • Your injury happened more than 1 year ago.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding and do not have type 1 or 2 diabetes.
  • You have not had bariatric or gut surgery, use an abdominal binder, or take medications for low blood pressure.
  • You do not have a pacemaker or defibrillator, and have not had electrical stimulation training in the past year.
