  • You must be between 0 and 65 years old
  • You must have a diagnosis of sepsis, which is a life-threatening response to infection
  • You must have a confirmed or suspected infection
  • You cannot have a history of chronic bowel disease, mental health conditions, or certain organ transplants
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy within the next year
  • You cannot have advanced cancer or be in immediate life-threatening shock
