Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a condition called psychomotor disadaptation syndrome (PMDS), which affects movement and balance
  • You can stand up without help from another person or a device
  • You have a certain level of fear of falling (based on a short questionnaire)
  • Your balance on a simple reach test is below a certain range
  • You do not have any condition that makes virtual reality uncomfortable or unsafe, like severe dizziness or certain brain disorders
