Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • Your BMI is 28 to 39.9 (meaning you are in the obesity range).
  • You have been trying to eat healthier and exercise for at least 3 months, and your weight has not changed by more than 5% in that time.
  • You do not have diabetes (type 1, type 2, or any other type).
  • You have no history of certain stomach or pancreas problems, and you have not had weight-loss surgery.
  • If you could become pregnant, you must use effective birth control during the study and for 60 days after the last dose. If you are a man, you must use effective birth control during the study and for 90 days after the last dose.
