Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and live in the community (not a nursing home or hospital).
- You have had pain in your muscles, joints, bones, ligaments, or tendons in the past month.
- You can walk for 6 minutes without using a walker, cane, or other assistive device.
- You do not have heart problems, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or chest pain that limits your activities.
- You do not have a serious disease like Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, or severe arthritis that limits daily life.
- You do not take strong opioid pain medications every day (for 90 days or longer).
