Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with a type of head and neck cancer called squamous cell carcinoma, specifically in the throat (oropharynx) or mouth (oral cavity).
- Your treatment plan includes at least 60 Gy of daily radiation, with or without chemotherapy.
- You are at high risk of developing moderate mouth sores (grade 2 or higher).
- You can read and understand English.
- You do not currently have a feeding tube (like a PEG tube) already in place.
