- You have septic shock (a severe infection causing very low blood pressure).
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You are not allergic to ginseng or aconite (ingredients in Shenfu injection).

- You are expected to live more than 48 hours.
