  • You had your first ever stroke caused by a clot, with mild to moderate arm weakness.
  • The stroke affected one side of the brain in an area supplied by the middle cerebral artery.
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You do not have problems with vision, attention, or thinking that would affect participation.
  • You have a score below 56 on a specific arm function test (Fugl-Meyer).
