Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have a raised burn scar that has been stable for at least 6 months.
  • Your scar causes you moderate to severe pain or itching (at least a 4 out of 10 on a pain scale).
  • You are employed or regularly active so that time off work or reduced activity can be tracked.
  • You have not had surgery or other invasive treatments on the scar in the last 6 months.
  • You are not pregnant, and do not have an active skin infection on the scar or a serious medical condition like uncontrolled diabetes or heart disease.
