  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with ITP within the last 3 months.
  • Your platelet count is below 30, or you have had bleeding symptoms.
  • You do not have another condition causing low platelets (like lupus, leukemia, or untreated H. pylori).
  • You have not had a blood clot, stroke, or heart attack in the last 6 months.
  • Your kidney and liver function tests are within acceptable ranges.
