Who can take part

  • You must be diagnosed with a disorder of consciousness, as confirmed by the CRS-R scale.
  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • At least 28 days must have passed since the event that caused your condition.
  • You cannot have a large skull opening (craniectomy) that might interfere with brain recording.
  • You must not have unstable medical problems like breathing trouble, fever, or ongoing seizures.
  • Any fractures, paralysis, injuries, or muscle conditions that prevent tickling the body parts used in the study will disqualify you.
