Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 70 years old
- Have a diagnosis of vegetative state (unresponsive wakefulness) or minimally conscious state from a brain injury that occurred within the last year
- Be right-handed
- Not currently taking sedative medications or drugs that interfere with brain stimulation
- Have no metal implants in your skull, brain, heart, or spine
- Have no uncontrolled seizures (no seizures in the past 4 weeks)
