Treatments studied

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This trial tests whether giving chemotherapy (gemcitabine and cisplatin) combined with immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) before and after surgery can improve outcomes compared to having surgery right away. It is for people with bile duct cancer that can be removed or is borderline removable.

NCT06341764Recruiting· Phase 2
Chemo-immunotherapy before surgery for bile duct cancer

This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy before surgery for locally advanced bile duct cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink the tumor enough to improve surgical outcomes.

NCT06569225Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
Chemo plus immunotherapy for resectable bile duct cancer

This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy drugs (gemcitabine, cisplatin, nab-paclitaxel) with an immunotherapy (rilvegostomig) before and after surgery for intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma that can be completely removed. It aims to see if this approach improves outcomes.

NCT05967182Recruiting· Phase 2
Pembrolizumab plus chemo before or around liver surgery

This trial tests whether pembrolizumab combined with gemcitabine and cisplatin given around the time of surgery can improve outcomes for people with high-risk, potentially operable intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer in the liver). It may help by strengthening the immune system while also treating the cancer with chemotherapy.

NCT06001658Recruiting· Phase 2
Chemo plus immunotherapy before and after surgery for bile duct cancer

This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy (gemcitabine and cisplatin) and an immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab) given before and after surgery for people with bile duct or gallbladder cancer that can be removed. The goal is to see if this approach helps prevent the cancer from coming back.

Baltimore, Maryland
NCT06037655Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
Chemo plus immunotherapy before surgery for bile duct cancer

This trial tests a combination of chemotherapy, an immunotherapy drug (adebrelimab), and a drug to boost white blood cells (mecapegfilgrastim) before surgery for people with biliary tract cancer. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink the tumor enough to make surgery possible.

NCT06181032Recruiting· Phase 1
Immunotherapy and chemo combo before surgery for bile duct cancer

This trial tests a combination of an immunotherapy (adebrelimab), a targeted therapy (apatinib), and two chemotherapy drugs (gemcitabine and cisplatin) given before surgery for biliary tract cancers that are removable but at high risk of coming back. The goal is to see if this approach helps shrink the tumor and improve outcomes after surgery.
