Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have been taking octreotide or lanreotide for acromegaly for at least 6 months, and your dose has been steady for the past 12 weeks
- Your IGF-1 level is within the normal range at the screening visit
- You have not had pituitary surgery in the last 6 months or plan to during the study
- You do not have serious heart or blood vessel problems, like heart failure or stroke, within the past year
