- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You have not taken any other sore throat medicines (including herbs, steroids, or NSAIDs like ibuprofen) in the last 48 hours
- You do not have other infections or serious health conditions like liver, kidney, or thyroid problems
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to the study drug ingredients
