Who can take part
- You have advanced kidney disease (stage 4 or 5) or diabetes (type 1 or 2)
- You are able to walk about 20 meters (about 20 steps)
- Your BMI is less than 35
- You are not currently on dialysis and not planning to start soon
- You do not have other nerve, muscle, bone, or joint diseases that affect your legs
- You have no major memory or thinking problems, and no leg amputation
