  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have type 2 diabetes.
  • A nerve test (EMG) has confirmed nerve damage in your legs (called diabetic peripheral polyneuropathy).
  • You do not have any other major health problems (like advanced heart disease, active infection, or recent surgery) that might affect the results.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 30.
  • You can read and sign a consent form.
