- You are between 45 and 76 years old
- You have been diagnosed with diabetes-related nerve damage (confirmed by blood tests, physical exam, and nerve testing)
- You do not have autoimmune disease, stroke, or long-term infections
- You have not been diagnosed with cancer or had chemotherapy or radiation therapy
- You do not have severe kidney or liver disease, alcoholism, or active substance use
- You speak Turkish and are able to participate in the study
