Who can take part

  • You are between 45 and 76 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with diabetes-related nerve damage (confirmed by blood tests, physical exam, and nerve testing)
  • You do not have autoimmune disease, stroke, or long-term infections
  • You have not been diagnosed with cancer or had chemotherapy or radiation therapy
  • You do not have severe kidney or liver disease, alcoholism, or active substance use
  • You speak Turkish and are able to participate in the study
