Who can take part
- Your body mass index (BMI) is between 30 and 50 — that means you have obesity and your weight is below 350 pounds (159 kg) at the start.
- You have tried to lose weight with diet or exercise before, even if you didn't succeed.
- You have not gained or lost more than 5% of your body weight in the past 3 months.
- You have not used certain weight-loss medicines like Wegovy, Saxenda, or similar drugs in the last 6 months.
- You do not have type 1 diabetes, and your obesity is not mainly due to a rare genetic condition or another specific disorder.
- If you are able to have children, you agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 90 days after the last dose.
