Who can take part

  • You have a traumatic brain injury (TBI) confirmed by a CT scan.
  • Your Glasgow Coma Scale score (a measure of consciousness) is 4 or higher.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have a spinal cord injury.
  • You do not have certain other conditions like an abdominal aortic aneurysm, blood clot in the IVC, heart failure, or need for dialysis.
