Who can take part

  • You have a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease based on standard criteria and are in stages I to IV when on medication.
  • You are willing to take part and can give permission (or have a legal representative who can).
  • If you do not have Parkinson's, you must have a normal neurological exam and medical records available for review.
  • You do not have severe memory or thinking problems, uncontrolled epilepsy, stroke, or other serious brain or muscle conditions.
  • You do not have a fever, acute infection like flu or COVID-19, or a chronic infection such as hepatitis C, HIV, or tuberculosis.
  • You do not have another life-threatening illness or condition that could affect the study results.
