Who can take part
- Your child is having a laryngoscopy or bronchoscopy at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital (CMHH)
- Your child weighs 5 kilograms (about 11 pounds) or more
- The procedure is not an emergency
- Your child does not have a tracheostomy
- Your child does not have unrepaired cyanotic heart disease (a heart problem that causes bluish skin)
- Your child has no major nasal deformity or blocked nasal passages (choanal atresia)
- The procedure does not involve cautery or laser
