Who can take part
- You have not had any growth hormone treatment before and have not started puberty
- Your height is much shorter than average for your age and gender (at least 2 standard deviations below)
- Your growth over the past 6 months has been slower than 75% of kids your age and gender
- Your bone age (how mature your skeleton is) is at least 1 year behind your actual age
- Your IGF-1 level is low (a sign of growth hormone deficiency)
