  • Your child is 3 to 7 years old.
  • Your child has a baby molar tooth that needs a pulpectomy because of deep decay or infection.
  • Your child is generally healthy and cooperative for treatment.
  • The tooth is not loose or about to fall out on its own.
  • The tooth has not had a previous pulpectomy.
