Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older and have advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (Stage IIIB/IV) that cannot be cured with surgery or standard radiation.
- Your tumor must have an EGFR PACC or L861Q mutation, confirmed by a central lab using a recent tissue or blood sample.
- You cannot have had any prior chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy for advanced lung cancer, though prior treatment for earlier-stage disease is okay if completed at least 12 months ago.
- You must be in good physical condition (able to perform daily activities with little difficulty) and have adequate organ function.
- You must not have certain other genetic mutations (like ALK, ROS1, RET, NTRK, BRAF V600E, or MET exon 14 skipping) that already have approved targeted treatments.
- You must not have active interstitial lung disease, uncontrolled infections, or significant heart or digestive problems.
