Who can take part

  • You must have liver cancer that has been confirmed by biopsy or imaging tests.
  • You must have had surgery or ablation that removed all visible cancer (confirmed by scan within 2 months).
  • Your cancer must have at least one high-risk factor: a single tumor larger than 2 inches, 3 or more tumors, signs of blood vessel invasion, or a tumor grade of 3 or 4.
  • Your liver function must be good (Child-Pugh score A) and you must be in good general health (ECOG score 0-1).
  • You must have no active hepatitis B or C infection, or if you do, it must be well controlled with antivirals.
  • You cannot have had any previous cancer treatment for this liver cancer other than surgery or ablation.
