Who can take part

  • You have atrial fibrillation that lasts more than 7 days or needed a procedure to stop it.
  • You have tried at least one heart rhythm medication (like flecainide or amiodarone) but it didn't work or caused side effects.
  • You are 20 to 90 years old.
  • You do not have a blood clot in your heart or an allergy to contrast dye used in imaging.
  • You are not pregnant, on dialysis, or unable to receive X-rays.
