Who can take part
- You are 19 years or older.
- You have persistent atrial fibrillation (a long-lasting irregular heartbeat) and are scheduled for catheter ablation.
- You have never had a prior catheter ablation or MAZE surgery for atrial fibrillation.
- Your left atrium (a heart chamber) is not larger than 6 cm on imaging.
- You do not have end-stage kidney disease.
