Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a first-time ACL tear in one knee.
  • You have had an MRI at the study hospital showing extra inward twisting of the shin bone (more than 5.8 mm).
  • You have not had any prior knee surgery.
  • You have not injured other major knee ligaments (like MCL, LCL, or PCL) or had a dislocated kneecap.
