Who can take part

  • You are over 18 years old
  • You are having a severe heart attack (called STEMI) and need urgent heart catheterization
  • Your heart attack is caused by a complete or near-complete blocked artery
  • Your doctor plans to use a suction device (thromboaspiration) to remove the clot
  • You are able to understand and sign a consent form
